Event Overview

The Euromoney/ECBC Covered Bond Congress will return to Barcelona on Thursday 10th September 2020.

The eighteenth instalment of the Congress will once again bring together the international covered bond community, gathering issuers, investors, intermediaries and policymakers for a packed day of networking, deal-making and high-level discussion on the key trends in the covered bond market.

The 2019 Congress in Munich attracted an audience of over 1,160 market participants from a record 44 different jurisdictions.

The Congress is well-established as the most important covered bond event in the calendar and is a ‘must-attend’ for everyone involved in, or with an interest in, the covered bond market globally.

The event consists of the pre-Congress Sponsoring Banks’ Party, the main Congress day and The GlobalCapital Covered Bond Awards Dinner. It immediately follows the European Covered Bond Council’s Plenary meeting which takes place on Wednesday 9th September.

Further information will be available soon.

‘I found the Euromoney covered bond conference a useful way to meet a wide variety of issuers in a short space of time – and to network with fellow investors.’

Tom Hyde, Director, HQLA Portfolio, Royal Bank of Canada

‘Year by year, Euromoney covers the most recent market developments and brings together all parts of the covered bond industry for a one day, unique event.’

Timo Boehm, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management, PIMCO
